36.47% of 7.90 cr electors submit forms by July 7; 1.18 cr in last 24 hrs: EC on Bihar SIR

New Delhi [India], July 7 (ANI): The Special Intenive Reviion (SIR) in Bihar i being implemented by the Election Commiion of India order dated June 24, 2025. A per intruction, the draft electoral roll that will be iued on Augut 1, 2025, will contain the name of peron whoe enumeration form have been received.
The exercie i progreing moothly with the active cooperation of the elector.
A of Monday, at 6.00 PM, 2,87,98,460 Enumeration Form, i.e. 36.47 per cent of the total of 7,89,69,844 (nearly 7.90 crore) elector in Bihar who are enrolled a on June 24, 2025, have been received.
In the lat 24 hour, i.e. from 6.00 PM yeterday, 1,18,49,252 Enumeration Form have been collected. There are till 18 day to go until the lat date for ubmitting form.
The uploading of form ha alo tarted in full wing, with 7.25 per cent of the form already uploaded o far.
Meanwhile, on the reviion of the electoral roll in Bihar, BJP MP Manan Kumar Mihra aid, Thi i a pecial drive, a pecial intenive reviion by the Election Commiion. The lat reviion of the voter lit in Bihar wa carried out in 2003. Thi i a healthy tradition and hould be carried out regularly; otherwie, we cannot hope for a fair and tranparent election. There ha been a huge demographic change in Bihar, and thing will become clear after the reviion of the lit.
The partially filled form are alo available for download on the ECI portal (http://voter.eci.gov.in) and the ECINET App. Elector can upload the filled form themelve on the ECINET App.
77,895 Booth Level Officer (BLO) are going houe-to-houe to help the elector fill out their Enumeration Form and collect them. In many cae, the BLO are taking live picture of the elector and uploading them, thereby aving the elector the trouble of getting their photo taken.
Additionally, 20,603 BLO are being appointed for the mooth and timely completion of the proce. Nearly 4 lakh volunteer, including government official, NCC cadet, NSS member, etc., are alo working in the field to facilitate the elderly, PwD, ick, and vulnerable population in the SIR proce. Additionally, 239 ERO, covering all 243 AC, 963 AEROS, 38 DEO, and the CEO of the tate are at the ground level to facilitate elector in ubmitting their form.
1,54,977 Booth Level Agent (BLA) appointed by variou political partie are alo providing active upport in the SIR proce. (ANI)
