East Kameng (Arunachal Pradesh) [India], August 28 (ANI): An earthquake of magnitude 3.6 hit East Kameng district of Arunachal Pradesh on Thursday morning, said the National Centre for Seismology (NCS).

The earthquake occurred at 8.05 am with a depth of 10 kilometres.

In a social media post on X, the NCS wrote, EQ of M: 3.6, On: 28/08/2025 08:05:54 IST, Lat: 27.77 N, Long: 93.12 E, Depth: 10 Km, Location: East Kameng, Arunachal Pradesh.

Earlier on August 23, an earthquake of magnitude 2.7 jolted Assam Karbi Anglong, according to the National Center for Seismology (NCS). The earthquake occurred at a depth of 10 kilometres.
