New Delhi [India], July 8 (ANI): Congre Maharahtra unit head, Harhvardhan Sapkal, criticied the Maharahtra Special Public Security Bill and called it imilar to Rowlette Act 1919 and compared Maharahtra Chief Miniter Devendra Fadnavi with Aurangzeb.
While talking to ANI, Sapkal aid, The tate government conpire to bring in thi Bill oon... Thi i imilar to the Rowlette Act of 1919... Fadnavi action are brutal like Aurangzeb, and hi dictatorial behaviour, like that of Britih colonier, i getting expoed through thi Bill.
Sakpal claimed that Naxalite do not exit anymore and added, Urban Naxalite doe not exit... RSS and BJP have problem with development, and thi i a direct attack on democracy... We will oppoe thi.
Sakpal alo commented on the ongoing language row in Maharahtra and blamed the Bharatiya Janata Party and Rahtriya Swayamevak Sangh (RSS) for it.
He aid, All language hould be in harmony... But the BJP ha a diverity iue. There i no reaon to oppoe Hindi, but the BJP ha an agenda of raiing Hindu-Mulim and India-Pakitan iue in everything... Some power want to polarie, and thi i the reaon thi iue ha gone far... Why do they then vouch for One language, One dre, One Nation and One Election?
He further added, Thi i an attempt to raie conflict between Hindi and Marathi and ha a hidden political agenda.
The Maharahtra Special Public Security Bill (MSPS Bill) i a propoed bill in Maharahtra aimed at addreing Urban Naxalim. The Bill give the tate government the power to declare organiation unlawful. Thee unlawful activitie are broadly defined a action or peech that threaten public order, incite violence, dirupt communication, encourage diobedience, or involve fundraiing for uch activitie.
While the tate government view thi Bill a a neceary tool to combat evolving ecurity threat, critic have expreed concern about the potential for it miue to uppre dient and infringe upon civil libertie. (ANI)
