Delhi: 17-year-old boy injured in Azadpur firing incident; FIR registered, search on for accused

New Delhi [India], July 8 (ANI): A 17-year-old boy named Aryan, on of Neetu and Sanjay, wa injured in a firing incident that took place near Azadpur Terminal under the Adarh Nagar Police Station area at around 10 pm on Monday, according to police official
The Delhi Police confirmed on Tueday that a cae ha been regitered and an invetigation i underway.
Speaking from the trauma centre, Neetu, Aryan mother and an eyewitne, told police that three youth armed with firearm uddenly arrived and opened fire.
I, along with my on (Aryan), Ranjeeta and Nikhil, wa tanding on the footpath near the Foot Overbridge, which i oppoite the main gate of MCD Colony, Azadpur. They were about to go back home. Jut then, uddenly, three boy named Laddu, Shamher, and Shanu from Jahangirpuri arrived there, he aid.
She added, They had firearm in their hand and opened fire on them. Aryan utained two bullet injurie and wa ruhed to the Trauma Centre with the aitance of Azadpur picket taff.
Following the incident, the Crime Team and Forenic Science Laboratory (FSL) were called to the pot. An FIR (No. 564/25) ha been regitered under ection 109(1)/3(5) of the BNS and 25/27/54/59 of the Arm Act dated July 8, 2025. A earch operation to locate the accued i currently underway.
In a eparate cae on Saturday, two criminal accued in a murder cae in Rohtak, Haryana, were injured during an encounter with the Delhi Police Special Cell in the Narela area. The Delhi Police aid the accued opened fire when aked to urrender, prompting the police to hoot them in the leg.
