Karbi Anglong (Assam) [India], August 23 (ANI): An earthquake of magnitude 2.7 jolted Assam Karbi Anglong on Saturday, according to the National Center for Seismology (NCS).
The earthquake occurred at 10:38 am with a depth of 10 kilometres.

Earlier on August 21, an earthquake of magnitude 3.5 struck Jammu and Kashmir (J-K) Kupwara district. This earthquake occurred at 01:39 PM, with a depth of 5 kilometres.
Meanwhile, two earthquakes jolted Himachal Pradesh Chamba on Wednesday.
The latest earthquake was of 4.0 magnitude on the Richter Scale at 04:39:45 IST, with a depth of 10 Kilometres.
