"Launched various schemes to mark PM Modi's birthday": Sikkim CM Prem Singh Tamang

Gangtok (Sikkim) [India], September 17 (ANI): Sikkim Chief Minister Prem Singh Tamang on Wednesday extended birthday greetings to Prime Minister Narendra Modi, stating that the state government launched various schemes to mark this occasion.

Speaking to reporters here, the Chief Minister said, Our state launched various schemes to mark the occassion of PM Modi birthday... His vision is of public service. His vision is that we all should work together to serve the poor... I congratulate PM Modi on his birthday on behalf of the people of Sikkim.

Meanwhile, Prime Minister Modi expressed heartfelt gratitude for the overwhelming birthday wishes he received from across India and globally, turning 75 today.

In a touching post on X, he shared that the people faith and affection are a tremendous source of strength for him, reinforcing his commitment to building a Viksit Bharat.

The innumerable wishes and the faith you have reposed in me are a source of great strength. I see them as a blessing not for me alone, but for the work we are doing together to build a better India. PM Modi also acknowledged various social service endeavours by Indians, praising their inherent goodness and courage.
