Maharashtra's Ranjan Kabra tops CA Final Exam with 86 per cent, credits father as inspiration

Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar (Maharahtra) [India], July 8 (ANI): Ranjan Kabra from Maharahtra Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar ditrict ha ecured All India Rank 1 in the Chartered Accountant (CA) Final Examination.
Speaking to ANI, Ranjan expreed hi happine and aid it wa a proud moment for hi family. I am very happy. Thi i a proud moment for my family. It i a huge thing to have ecured Rank 1. My father i the inpiration behind it, he aid.
Hi father, Manoj Kabra, wa equally elated. It i a moment of great joy today. Everyone i very happy that he ha ecured Rank 1. We are getting call from family member, friend and indutry colleague. He took inpiration to do CA from me, but hi mother guided him on how to go about hi tudie, he told ANI.
The Intitute of Chartered Accountant of India (ICAI) announced the reult for the CA Foundation, Intermediate and Final Examination 2025 on Saturday. Along with the reult, the intitute alo releaed the lit of top rank holder in every category. In the CA Final exam, Ranjan Kabra emerged a the All India Rank 1 (AIR 1) holder, ecuring 516 mark out of 600, ecuring a total of 86.
The complete lit of CA Final May 2025 topper include- Rajan Kabra (AIR-1), Nihtha Bothra (AIR-2) and Manav Rakeh Shah (AIR-3).
A per the ICAI data, in thi eion, a total of 14,247 candidate qualified a Chartered Accountant.
Meanwhile, in May 2025, a total of 29,286 tudent appeared for both the group of CA Final Examination, out of which 5,490 candidate paed. 66,943 candidate appeared only for Group 1 out of which 14,979 tudent (22.38) paed the exam. 46,173 candidate appeared for Group 2 CA Final exam in May 2025, out of which 12,204 tudent (26.43) paed the exam.
The CA Final exam were held between May 16 and May 24 for group 1 and group 2 paper, reult for which were out on July 6. (ANI)
