Odisha: Jagannath temple's Ratna Bhandar work completed: Official

Puri (Odiha) [India], July 8 (ANI): The Archaeological Survey of India ha completed the repair work of Jagannath temple Ratna Bhandar (treaury) and the inventory-related work will begin after the valuable are hifted to the Ratna Bhandar, according to the temple Chief Adminitrator Arabinda Kumar Padhee.
Arabinda Kumar Padhee alo told ANI that a high-level committee headed by Jutice Biwanath Rath will ait the Jagannath temple managing committee in the inventory-related work of all the valuable.
I am proud and privileged to announce the completion of the conervation and repair of both the inner and outer Ratna Bhandar. Now, a per the tandard operating procedure approved by the government. Now, the valuable will be tranferred from the temporary trongroom to the original one, and afterward, the inventory work will begin. The government ha already appointed a high-level committee headed by Jutice Biwanath Rath. They will ait the Jagannath temple managing committee in inventoriation of all the valuable, Arabinda Kumar Padhee aid.
According to the temple chief adminitration, the Ratna Bhandar wa opened after a gap of four and a half decade. He added that the valuable were moved to the temporary trongroom, following which ASI tarted the repair work.
The Ratna Bhandar of Shree Jagannath Puri Temple wa reopened on July 14, 2024, after a 4.5-decade gap. Thereafter, the valuable and jewellery were hifted from the Inner Ratna Bhandar and Outer Ratna Bhandar to the temporary trongroom. Thereafter, the Archaeological Survey of India conducted a laer canning and penetrating urvey... Following thi, conervation and repair work commenced on December 17, 2024, and were carried out in two phae, Arabinda Kumar Padhee.
The retoration work wa carried out in two phae by ASI, with the firt phae lating from December 17, 2024, to April 28, 2025 and the econd phae from June 28, 2025, to July 7, 2025.
