“Sheesh Mahal can be turned into five-star hotel only”: Delhi Minister Sirsa takes jibe at Kejriwal, AAP

New Delhi [India], July 7 (ANI): Delhi Environment Miniter Manjinder Singh Sira on Monday again took the “Sheeh Mahal” jibe at AAP over the reidence of former Delhi Chief Miniter Arvind Kejriwal, aying it can only be turned into a five-tar hotel.

In an interview with ANI, Sira alo lammed oppoition partie for the Maya Mahal jibe at the propoed cot of renovation of the houe allocated to Delhi Chief Miniter Rekha Gupta, aying he i living in a normal houe and the expene of all the arrangement i around R 50 lakh.&nbp

The Sheeh Mahal can only be turned into a 5-tar hotel. We are exploring if we can open it up for public viewing with ticketed entry. The Sheeh Mahal ha been built in luxury. In the 12 toilet that have been built, toilet eat worth approximately R 1.25 crore have been ued. Curtain, which can be remotely operated, are of R 8 lakh each…it can only be a five-tar hotel,” he aid.

Earlier on July 4, Delhi CM Rekha Gupta inaugurated her new camp office Jan Seva Sadan in the national capital. &nbp

The Public Work Department (PWD) had earlier thi month iued a tender worth R 60 lakh for the renovation of Rekha Gupta official reidence.

The renovation work i focued on Bungalow Number 1, where the Chief Miniter will be reiding. A econd bungalow, Bungalow Number 2, ha alo been allocated to her, which will erve a a camp office.

According to the tender, the renovation i mainly related to electrical and interior fitting. The bungalow will be equipped with five televiion for about R 9.3 lakh and fourteen air conditioner worth R 7.7 lakh.

The plan alo include intalling fourteen CCTV camera for R 5.74 lakh and a UPS ytem for R 2 lakh to enure a continuou power upply.

BJP leader had been taking “heeh mahal” wipe at Kejriwal and Aam Aadmi Party ahead of Delhi aembly poll earlier thi year. &nbp (ANI)
