Telangana CM Revanth Reddy requests Union Minister of Sports to conduct 'Khelo India Games'

New Delhi [India], July 7 (ANI): Telangana Chief Miniter Revanth Reddy ha requeted Union Miniter of Sport and Youth Affair Manukh L Mandaviya to conduct Khelo India Game-2026 in Telangana, according to the official tatement.
The Chief Miniter alo appealed to the Union Miniter to conider the poibility of hoting the National Game and other national and international game, along with Khelo India, in Telangana tate in the future, a per the releae.
According to the official tatement, CM Revanth Reddy met with Manukh L Mandaviya at hi official reidence in Delhi today.

During the meeting, the CM requeted for allocation of fund for the development of port infratructure, training of athlete, election of port expert and other program under Khelo India.
The Chief Miniter aid that it required R 100 crore to develop port infratructure, mainly the contruction of a ynthetic athletic track and multipurpoe indoor tadium in Bhuvanagiri, a wimming pool in Rayagiri, a ynthetic athletic track in Palamuru Univerity, Mahabubnagar, a multipurpoe hall in Satavahana Univerity, Karimnagar, an Archery range and a Synthetic Hockey field in Hakimpet, Hyderabad, quah court, natural football field development and a ynthetic track in LB Stadium, renovation of hockey ground in Gachibowli and a ynthetic athletic track in Mahatma Gandhi Univerity, Nalgonda, a per the releae.

The Chief Miniter briefed the Union Miniter that the tate government wa already making every effort to improve port facilitie and requeted adequate cooperation from the centre.
The CM alo appealed to the union miniter to organie at leat two event in the Olympic to be held in the country in 2036 in Telangana and provide fare conceion in train travel to the port peron who participated in national-level game like in the pat.
According to the official tatement, State Government Advior (Sport) AP Jitender Reddy, MP Mallu Ravi and Chamala Kiran Kumar Reddy, CM Special Secretary Ajit Reddy and Secretary for Coordination of Central Scheme and Centrally Sponored Scheme Dr. Gaurav Uppal are preent in the meeting. (ANI)
