New Delhi [India], August 13 (ANI): Union Minister Giriraj Singh rejected Congress leader Rahul Gandhi criticism of the Election Commission and said that while the Modi government last 11 years have been about hope and aspirations, the previous UPA government 10 years were only about controversies.
Singh also accused Gandhi of misleading people by not submitting an affidavit.
He is not giving an affidavit and deceiving people... The last 11 years of the Modi government were about hopes and aspirations. While UPA 10 years were only about controversies... You could have at least submitted 65,000 objects against 65 lakh voters... Singh told reporters on Tuesday.
On Monday, Lok Sabha LoP and Congress MP Rahul Gandhi sharply criticised the Election Commission of India, alleging it has failed to enforce the principle of One Man, One Vote, which he described as the foundation of the Constitution.
Gandhi further accused the Election Commission of neglecting its duty, asserting that the Congress party is committed to protecting the Constitution and will continue to do so.

CPI(M) MP P Sandosh Kumar said the opposition intends to intensify its campaign. INDIA parties leaders are more energised, and this has become an all-India campaign.
