According to the police, Vilka wa killed at about 2:45 am in a police encounter near Damaiya ghat in the limit of Mallami police tation. The police have alo recovered one pitol and a cartridge from the ite. The body of the accued ha been ent to Nalanda Medical College for pot-mortem.
Meanwhile, the key accued ha alo been arreted by the Police.
Buineman Gopal Khemka wa hot dead near the main gate of hi reidence in Patna Gandhi Maidan area on July 4. He had requeted police protection for hi family.

Earlier, Gaurav Khemka, on of buineman Gopal Khemka, in hi tatement recorded in the FIR on Saturday, Gaurav mentioned that hi brother, Gunjan Khemka, wa alo murdered in 2018. After thi incident, my family and I are frightened. We requet that the government and police provide u with ecurity and enure the afety of our family. Alo, the perpetrator hould be arreted and punihed, he wrote.
Gaurav narrated the incident in hi tatement, aying that around 8:30 PM, hi father had gone to the Bankipore Club. When he returned home at 11:20 PM, aailant who were already waiting at the gate hot him in the head.
He added that after hearing the gunhot and being alerted by the building guard, he and hi wife ruhed to the gate. There, they found Gopal Khemka lying in a pool of blood. Gaurav aid they ruhed him to the hopital, where doctor declared him dead.
The Bihar Police had formed a Special Invetigation Team (SIT) to invetigate the murder cae of buineman Gopal Khemka. (ANI)
