New Delhi [India], July 8 (ANI): The Indian National Congre (INC), along with other oppoition partie, have moved to the Supreme Court of India againt the Election Commiion of India (ECI) deciion to conduct Special Intenive Reviion of electoral roll in Bihar.
Congre general ecretary KC Venugopal hared a pot on hi official X handle and informed about the development, tating that ECI deciion ha wreaked havoc acro the village and town of Bihar and ha pread anxiety acro voter on whether their right to vote would be tolen.

The Congre leader alleged that ECI i conducting ma-cale rigging and michief on the order of the Union Government led by the BJP and hoped that the Supreme Court will deliver jutice to the oppoition.

The Supreme Court on Monday agreed to hear on July 10 a batch of plea challenging the Election Commiion of India (ECI) move to conduct a Special Intenive Reviion (SIR) of electoral roll in poll-bound Bihar.
A bench of Jutice Sudhanhu Dhulia and Joymalya Bagchi agreed to lit the matter on Thurday and allowed the partie to give advance notice of the petition to the Election Commiion of India and erve copie of the petition.
Senior advocate Kapil Sibal, Abhihek Manu Singhvi, Gopal Sankaranarayanan and Shadan Faraat jointly mentioned the matter before the apex court.
The advocate told the bench that voter who fail to ubmit the form with the pecified document will face the harh conequence of being deleted from the electoral roll, even if they have voted in election for the lat twenty year. (ANI)
