Saran (Bihar) [India], September 18 (ANI): Jan Suraaj Party founder Prashant Kishor on Thursday took a dig at Union Home Minister Amit Shah visit to Bihar and said that while every leader has the democratic right to campaign in the state, they must also tell people when migration from Bihar will stop and when factories will be established in Bihar.
Speaking to the reporters, Everyone has the right to come here because it a democracy. PM Modi can come, Amit Shah can come, and even Rahul Gandhi can come. This is the power of the people of Bihar that everyone will have to come to this land.
Kishor also said that merely visiting Bihar is not enough; the leader must address the people issues in Bihar. They will have to tell people when migration from Bihar will stop and when factories will be established in Bihar. You cant win votes in Bihar just by saying factories are being established in Gujarat.
Earlier today, Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) leader Tejashwi Yadav criticised Union Home Minister Amit Shah visit to Bihar, saying that he came for his own benefit rather than to give special status to Bihar.
Speaking to the reporters, the RJD leader said, He is not coming to end unemployment. He is coming for his own benefit. He is not coming to give special status for Bihar.
Yadav also asked about Minister Jibesh Kumar assaulting and verbally abusing a journalist. Will any action be taken against the minister who beat up the journalist? he asked.
Meanwhile, Union Home Minister Amit Shah on Thursday slammed Congress leader Rahul Gandhi, saying that the latter conducted the Voter Adhikar Yatra with an aim to raise a voice for the Bangladeshi infiltrators whose names were getting struck in the Special Intensive Revision in Bihar.
Addressing a rally in Bihar Begusarai, Amit Shah said Rahul Gandhi only cares about infiltrators from Bangladesh and has no interest in the development of the youth of Bihar.
Rahul Baba had come here. He had organised a yatra. The yatra he had organised was to save the infiltrators. Should these infiltrators be on our voter list? Should these infiltrators receive our rations meant for the poor? Should these infiltrators receive employment? Should they receive medical treatment worth up to five lakh rupees? This Rahul Gandhi doesnt care about the poor of Bihar, the youth of Bihar. He cares about infiltrators from Bangladesh, the Home Minister said.
He also claimed that RJD and Congress are worried as their vote bank has been dented in the SIR after the removal of infiltrators from the voting list. Under Modi leadership, we will work to expel infiltrators from Bihar, one by one. SIR is a thorough revision to free the voter list from the pollution of infiltrators. The votes of the infiltrators have been cut. We all know that these infiltrators are Lalu and Rahul vote bank. Lalu Prasad and company are not concerned about the poor of Bihar, Shah said. (ANI)
