Tadepalli (Andhra Pradesh) [India], August 16 (ANI): Former Minister and YSRCP Guntur District President Ambati Rambabu criticised Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu for his alleged super cheating tactics, accusing him of misleading the public with unfulfilled Super Six promises, the YSRCP State Office said in a release on Friday.
Speaking at the YSRCP central office in Tadepalli, Rambabu stated that Naidu continued his habitual lies even during his Independence Day speech in Vijayawada, boasting about himself while falsely blaming the previous YSRCP government.
He challenged Naidu to explain how the Super Six schemes, touted as a hit, have failed to deliver, deceiving all sections of society.
Rambabu highlighted several unkept promises, including the Thalli Ki Vandanam scheme, where Rs 15,000 promised to mothers of students remains unimplemented, with only partial payments made under pressure. The free gas cylinder scheme, requiring Rs. 4,000 crore for 1.59 crore connections, was allocated only Rs 895 crores initially. The Annadata Sukhibhava scheme promised Rs 26,000 annually to farmers but delivered just Rs 7,000 over two years, and the unemployment allowance of Rs 3,000 monthly has not been disbursed to anyone. Even the free bus travel scheme for women was launched with restrictive conditions, limiting its scope.
Rambabu accused Naidu of destroying the Polavaram project for commissions, alleging he neglected critical infrastructure like coffer dams, as confirmed by an expert committee. He also criticised Naidu handling of Amaravati, claiming corrupt deals with Singapore companies and ongoing commission-driven contracts.
In the recent Pulivendula and Ontimitta by-elections, Rambabu alleged widespread rigging by TDP workers, supported by police, with no ink marks found on local voters fingers, indicating fake voting. He pointed to a photo tweeted by Nara Lokesh showing a TDP leader as a voter.
Responding to the media, Rambabu questioned Naidu family ties and defended YS Jagan remarks about Naidu political alliances, citing past collaborations with Congress and corruption allegations. He called Naidu governance a betrayal of public trust, marked by lies and electoral fraud. (ANI)
