Youtuber Bald and Bankrupt who frequents India and has a deep root of love for this multi-cultured country in one of his videos mention that as a foreigner, the one thing he dislikes about India is the ‘unnecessary peeps and honks’ every millisecond of the way and we couldn’t agree more either can this 11-year-old. Clearly bothered by the lack of civic sense yet driven by a force to change the system, an 11-year-old writes an inspiring letter to the billionaire Anand Mahindra himself.
Coming up with her own brilliant idea to tweak the horn feature in Mahindra cars that can help reduce noise pollution the little girl wrote, “I have a suggestion that you can only honk five times in 10 minutes and the honk will only last for three seconds. In this way, our roads will be quieter,â€.
It wasn’t long before netizens took notice of the letter lauding the little girl for her bravado. Anand Mahindra, who was so touched by the letter took to Twitter to share the letter with this sweet note, “At the end of a tiring day, when you see something like this in the mail... the weariness vanishes...I know I’m working for people like her, who want a better—and quieter world!†the chairman of Mahindra Group, Anand Mahindra tweeted.

Since then Twitter has been flooded with rains of tweets praising the little girl for awakening the civic sense in all of us.
Check out some of the tweets here:
Brilliant idea brimming with commonsense. Could only come from a child. Would love to see your take if a honking frequency could be pre-set in cars.

Very well written by you 'mahika'.
Loved your innovative idea and vision. Hope to see some changes in near future @anandmahindra .— Ashish kushwah (@ashishkushwah07) April 4, 2019
That’s a good idea and a very constructive proposal. Though Traffic can be weary but the honking adds to further frustration and tiredness. Government has to regulate with strict rules which didn’t happen and auto makers should step in.
