Haven’t E-commerce made our life so much easier? Maybe, a little too easy to even shell out some dough? Don’t believe? Giant e-commerce company, Amazon is selling legit, coconut shells for Rs 1,365 after discount and we don’t know what to make of it, neither are other customers. "This is an actual, real, coconut. Therefore, it may have cracks, dents, and imperfections," reads the product description.
The empty coconut shells also come with different price-ratings to make things even more bizarre. The item sold as "Natural coconut shell cups", starts at Rs. 1,289 and can even go up to Rs. 2,499. This unusual marketing, fair enough, have not gone unnoticed by many Indians stunned and Twitter as always have been flooded with rebuff and hilarious tweets.

One user wrote, ‘’wow didn't know that the coconut shells cost this much. we normally use it to start a fire. kids use it to make mannappam. (idli like things made of sand)’’ while others took a more sarcastic approach stating how coconut shells are multi-purposed, the user wrote, "Natural coconut shell.. it's used for various purposes.. showroom price would be around 3k.. my friend brought it at low price at 1300 .. great Amazon,”.
