A black bear that broke into one family home could care less for the porridge but wants a cosy place to sleep instead. A family in Montana were in for a shock when they came home to discover that a black bear has ripped apart their residence and is found unapologetically snoozing away in the closet. According to the Missoula County Sheriff’s Office, the bear had somehow managed to open their front door and then dead-bolt it from the inside, ‘ripping the room apart’ before climbing into the closet to sleep after the physical activity.
When the officers arrive, the omnivore was in no hurry to abandon his sleep.
“When deputies knocked on the window, the bear was not the least bit impressed. He slowly stretched, yawned and, unamused, looked toward the door,” read a Facebook post from the Missoula County Sheriff.
“Eventually, deputies were able to unlock the door in hopes he would hop down and leave. However, their attempts were only met with more big bear yawns’’ the Missoula County Sheriff’s Office sharing on Facebook wrote.
The bear was eventually tranquilized and relocated in good health.
