A brown bear tumbling down a rocky, steep mountain in J&K's Kargil after it was pelted with stones by locals will have you questioning if there is an ounce of humanity still left. A clip, which is now going viral for all the wrong reasons shows the bear struggling to get a hold on-to an uneven rocky cliff in Jammu and Kashmir’s Kargil before people in the backdrop start throwing stones at it that eventually drove the helpless bear to fall into the river. The video that opened up the eyes of a lot of people regarding the ill-treatment of animals was even retweeted by the former chief minister of the state Mehbooba Mufti. “Heartbreaking & inhuman. Why invade their habitat in the first place?†she tweeted.
