Extra organic! Woman finds ‘live’ frog in carton of green salads, WATCH

When eating healthy demands you to rummage through your greens before consuming them. In a viral video that is making our stomachs ‘croak’, a family in North Shore, Wisconsin, can be seen freaking out over an uninvited guest, a frog in its store-bought salad which they might have likely consumed. The incident was recorded on her phone and posted to Twitter featuring a close-up of the trapped amphibian, along with reactions of the family as one of them yells, “Oh my God, it’s literally alive!”

"I'm across the room, and I hear a shriek and a thud," Allen told WTMJ.

"Holy moly, this is this is happening," Allen said.

So she pulled out her phone and started recording the frog crawling around inside the salad carton.

"I'm thinking, 'One -- how the heck did that get in there?' and 'Two -- that is absolutely disgusting.' "

The family had planned on returning the lettuce, frog included, to the store but somehow the little amphibian escaped overnight.
