When taking shower was a task at winters, a groom has done the unthinkable, braved the bone-chilling cold, trekked through a snow clad road to reach his bride on their wedding-day. Setting new relationship goals, this man from Uttarakhand’s Chamoli district walked with umbrellas amidst heavy snowfall.

Photos of the groom wearing a shervani and pagdi while holding an umbrella during snowfall were shared by news agency ANI. "Uttarakhand: A groom travelled four km on foot to reach the bride's home in Bijra village in Chamoli district as roads were closed due to heavy snowfall in the region," ANI tweeted. The groom was surrounded by his friends and family as he completed the trek of four km to the bride’s house in Bijra village of Chamoli district.

The photos show the groom leading the baraat with a smile on his face. The pictures which are doing rounds on the microblogging platform have garnered over 7,000 likes. Netizens appreciated the groom's commitment.

One user said, "Fir bhi dulha kitna khush hai (Even then the groom is so happy)."

Earlier this month, a jawan posted in Kashmir missed his own wedding after being stranded in Bandipora due to heavy snowfall. The soldier, identified as Suneel, could not reach his hometown in Himachal Pradesh on time. The bride's family agreed to fix another date for the wedding ceremony.
