Remus, a long-haired mini dachshund is going to make you believe that dogs have been magicians in the previous life! A video of a dachshund dressed in a Gryffindor sweater and tie responding to spells from Harry Potter is here to warm even the coldest of hearts. A YouTuber by the name of Anna Brisbin posted a video of her furry friend named Remus on her channel, Brizzy voices performing dog tricks to the Harry Potter spells. The video shows Remus responding to commands like “stupefy,” “ascendio,” and yes…even “avada kedavra.”
We’ve all met a dog who responds to commands but never to a magic spell, although we are not complaining because the video is just absolutely MAGICAL! According to Remus’s owner, Remus like almost all our furry friends, Remus loves belly rubs and hates full moons. This 2: 21 seconds of pure joy has had millions of views in just one day and Remus has come out as a doggo celebrity, overnight.
This magical video has, of course, not gone unnoticed by animal lovers and all the Pottermore fans who have applauded Remus for the magical performance. After the video went viral, many of the Twitterati and furry lovers have also taken inspiration and posted pictures of their doggos dressed in furry Gryffindors. One user wrote, ''10 points to Gryffin-paw!'', while another one wrote, ''What about to Huffle-pup?’’.

According to the owner, Anna Brisbin, Remus who resides in Los Angeles was named after the werewolf and Order of the Phoenix member Remus Lupin and also has his own Instagram handle.
