It’s been over 20 years since the first Harry Potter book by JK Rowling was released, however, its popularity has only grown over the years and the fans have continued to come up with their own theories. There are numerous fan clubs, fan fictions and theories about different characters of the Harry Potter series and the latest theory has created quite the buzz on the internet.Â
According to a tweet shared by Twitter account Today Years Old, the scar on Potter’s forehead is not because of the lightning bolt, but is related to the curse spell used to kill his parents. The tweet read, ‘’Did you know Harry Potter’s scar isn’t a lightning bolt, but actually the hand motion to cast Avada Kedavra.’’

The tweet, which has gone viral on the internet, has left the Potter fans stumped. Along with the tweet, a picture of Potter’s scar along with a screenshot of the curse from the Harry Potter Wiki page has been shared. While many feel that this theory makes sense, some have called it far-fetched.Â
Check out what Twitterati have to say about this:
This just blew my mind! I just took it that #Harrypotter’s scare is a lightening bolt and not the wand motion to cast the Avada Kedavra curse! Going to have to watch the @HarryPotterFilm again â˜ºï¸ ðŸ§™â€â™‚ï¸ https://t.co/Np97uj1yuj
