A monkey probably more aware about the water crisis than the rest of us. From an elephant picking up garbage and throwing it in a dustbin to this monkey who is hailed as an internet environmentalist hero, the animal kingdom doesn’t stop to amaze us with what we call ‘awareness’ and ironically, ‘humanity’. Shared on various social media platforms, the monkey drinking water and then carefully closing the tap is nothing short of amazing.

Dr. SY Quraishi, the former Chief Election Commissioner of India wrote, ''What a beautiful message for humans,” while another sharing concern on how we waste water unnecessarily wrote, "The monkey shuts the tap to avoid wastage of water. Sadly, several human beings don't value the preciousness of water and waste it by not caring to close taps. Beautiful message indeed’’.
