Talking about strange food fetishes, Assyifa’s case isn't the first viral video that is grabbing the attention from the netizens. An earlier individual knows as Tempestt Henderson, who claims that she would eat soap on a daily basis, 5 times a day and was later diagnosed with a rare eating disorder called Pica where a person is addicted to eating substances that have no nutritional value like dirt, paint, and in this case, soap, ignited huge debate on strange food habits. Given this health situation, this viral video of Assyifa has also caused a major health debate with many stating that soap contains alkaline and have a high PH value which neutralises the acidic digestive juices in our body, causing our digestive system to not run efficiently.
