Is this the quickest divorce ever in history? Ahmedabad couple marries and divorces on same day over meal disagreement

There are long, messy divorces then there is also this married and divorced on the same day couple. In one of the most bizarre or should we say funny instances, a couple in Ahmedabad, Gondal married then divorced as quickly as they tied the knot. According to reports, the big blow erupted when the bride and the groom had a disagreement over lunch which resulted in their divorce.

The reports state that the fight went so horrid even the guests took sides took that ended up in throwing dishes at each other. Police were finally said to have been called to resolve the matter and put an end to the fight.

Both respective parties of the bride and the groom were said to have called their respective advocates on the spot and divorced ensued within a few minutes. The gifts exchanged at the ceremony were also reported to have been returned to the giver.

While the matter seems unfortunate, the couple has, at least saved themselves for a lifetime of fights and pots and pans throwing.
