A proposal 30,000 ft above the sky, a well-choregraphed dance in the mall that erupts to a teary, happy ending or at the calm of the Prekestolen cliff in Norway, you name it proposals have come in all types of ideas. This Tokyo man’s meticulous, months planned proposal for his ladylove however takes the icing on the cake. It also landed him a Guinness World Record for the largest GPS drawing in history.
In 2008, Yasushi “Yassan†Takahashi, a Tokyo resident Yassan knew he that his girlfriend was the one which is when he decided to plan this creative way of proposing using GPS art. Â
He then planned a unique proposal plan that took him halfway across Japan just so that he can spell ‘marry me’ on Google Earth. He travelled from the island of Hokkaido to the shores of Kagoshima covering around 4,451 miles in six months to complete the trip for his wedding proposal eventually completing with a heart at the end.
And who in the right mind would say No to that, the girlfriend of course said yes!
It was a big surprise," she was quoted as saying by South China Morning Post "I felt the greatest love in the world’’ she added.
