For one Chinese woman, laughter might not exactly be the best medicine. According to media sources, a Chinese woman dislocated her jaw from laughing too much after she got super excited for a card game. A married couple from China who went on a 28-hour long train journey from Nanning to Qingdao City in Shandong decided to pass the time by playing a game of cards. According to her husband, his wife started screaming and laughing excessively hard on seeing her luck of fortune in the card game. As she was laughing, the woman identified as Mrs. Chiao reportedly heard a loud “pop” sound and realised she couldn’t close her mouth anymore. Mrs. Chiao’s husband who then immediately notified the staff members working on the train about the transit of ‘joy’ to ‘pain’.

The train was reported to have picked up speed to for the next station for medical assistance. A team of paramedics who were already at the station, received and transport the poor woman to the nearest hospital for immediate treatment.
She is reported to have undergone treatment for 2 hours and finally had her jaw put back in place after enduring a lot of pain from the dislocation. Now, isn’t that one sudden change of bad luck?
