In the world of bosses and employees, there is somewhat an unbalanced seesaw weight of relationship between the two, left mostly unspoken. A particular 22-year-old man from Sheffield however, is not holding back his feelings now that he is quitting, of course. And while for most of us, handing a notice never comes easy, the 22-year-old, Sam Baines, took the well, something we hardly see before route-handing his boss a ‘Sorry For Your Loss’ card.

The image of his card was that read, "So very sorry for your loss" was shared on Twitter by the author's colleague Hannah have been retweeted nearly 40,000 times and liked by 210,000 people.

"My last day at work is the 28th July, Love, Sam x’. Thinking of you at this difficult time."

But, worry not about the next recommendations for Sam. Following the viral tweet, the 22-year-old when interviewed by INSIDER said, ‘We are a really close team and have a fantastic manager so we’re always joking around and having fun. I knew I had to do something a little more creative when giving my notice to try and get one more joke in before I left!

‘I knew my boss would find it funny so I wasn’t worried about how they’d take it. I came up with the idea because I was always joking about how much they’d miss me when I was gone, then thought a condolences card would be the perfect way to finish it off.

The viral tweet as expected has become a favourite for netzines who lauded Sam for the bold move.
