Judging my dating app experiences, getting right swipes are not as easy as for men as they are for women. And a man by the name of Aaron Smith is cleary frustrated with not getting matches or having too many opponents and he decided to do something about it. Cutting off all competitors, Smith has created a dating app by the name of ‘Singularity' that allows as many women as possible to sign while he will be the only man.
The 31-year-old said he's tired of competing with other guys for female attention. He even released a promotional video featuring him as the lone competitor.
"The biggest problem with the other apps is that my face is not featured prominently," he told WFMY CBS.
"If life gives you lemons, you should first make lemonade. Then make sure no other companies can produce or distribute their own soft drinks. So the only game in town is lemonade."
Software engineer and Aaron's best mate, Scott McDowell, reckons this could change the game of online dating.
"All of us who have done online dating in some sorta way can all relate to the fact that it really does sometimes suck," he said.
While we're still in the early days of the app, Aaron says he hasn't had many applicants download it...yet.
"Hopefully it will give people a chuckle about just the absurdity of what we're reduced to as a society," he told CBS.
