Prime Minister Narendra Modi's love for Indian food is not hidden from anyone. On Wednesday, he visited the Hunar Haat at India Gate lawns. Organised by the Ministry of Minority Affairs, the 'haat' is a unique initiative to promote handicrafts and bridge the gap between the artisans and the customers. The 'haat' started trending soon after PM Modi's chai pics surfaced online. PM Modi had had steaming and delicious litti-chokha for lunch with kulhad chai. As soon as the PM Modi shared the images on his social media accounts, it went viral and 'Hunar Haat' 'Litti Chokha' hashtags started trending on Twitter and Instagram.

News Nation team met the man who served PM Modi the Bihari cuisine. He told how happy he was to serve the delicious dish to the Prime Minister. The vendor also thanked the Minority Affairs' Minister Mukhtar Abbas Naqvi for giving him the opportunity to meet Narendra Modi. "I was pleasantly surprised when I suddenly saw Modi ji in my shop,” the vendor said.
PM Modi visited the fair to view various exhibitions where artisans from different states of the country displayed traditional artworks and handicrafts.

The Hunar Haat fare began on February 13. It is 10-day skill festival where more than 250 stalls have been set up to demonstrate their indigenous exquisite handmade products.
