Gold Medals are won for many reasons, however, this time the medal is not awarded to a school topper or an Olympic winner but to a proud Mother from Kazakhstan for having more than seven children. Yes, Kazakhstan is one among many countries that encourages its residents to have large families. Nevertheless, this country has moved way too far and has decided to promote child birth by passing a wired law. The law says that any mother who gives birth to more than 7 children will be awarded a gold medal.
The Government of Kazakhstan awards a silver and gold medal for mothers having 6 and 7 or more children, and honors them with the title of ‘Hero Mothers’. The story doesn’t stop here as these mothers are also eligible to get a month’s complete expenditure from the government.
One such Hero Mother is Roshan Kozomkulova. She lives in Kazakhstan and has become the mother of 10 children. She has both Silver and Gold medals. She is proud to have eight girls and two boys. Interestingly, it is great sight to see them dine together as well. After the gold medal, she also becomes entitled for government allowances throughout her life.
Another Proud Mother from Kazakhstan is Baktigul Halikbeva who has six children and is bestowed with a silver medal. She is also paid every month by the government. Her eldest son is 18 years old. Meanwhile, mothers who are unable to win the medals can also get financial support from Kazakhstan Government. Every family with 4 children is paid allowances by the government until the child becomes 21 years old.
Aksana Elusezova, Department of Labour and Social Programs of Kazakhstan has said that Kazakhstan Government Policy promotes child birth in the country and encourages every mother to have more children.
