This motorized luggage might seem surreal to take it at face value but it is no joke! The newest generation of 'smart' suitcases is on a mission for those who often miss the flight or hate the long walks at the airport. It can be pulled like a conventional bag but the developers' idea is you not doing the pulling anymore. Instead, you'll take a seat on the bag, pull up the handle, press down on the accelerator and speed off with this scooter luggage.
The bags are equipped to travel at up to 5 mph (8 kmph) in indoor mode and 8 mph (13 kmph) in outdoor mode. And the battery has enough juice to travel at least 6 miles (10 kilometers). So they won't be dying on the longest trip in the biggest airports. Although this rideable luggage is designed like a standard airline carry-on bag, you'll be losing about 20 percent of the luggage space to the batteries, motor, control stick and other pieces required to motorize it, so, for those who are planning for a heavy luggage packing, better stick to the good old luggage.
