Pakistani pop singer Rabi Pirzada, who a few months back posed a bizarre threat on Indians and to Prime Minister Narendra Modi with snakes and crocodiles for scrapping Jammu and Kashmir’s special status has taken retirement from showbiz.
In a Twitter post, Rabi Pirzada wrote, “Main Rabi Pirzada, showbiz se kinara kushi ikthyar karti hoon. Allah talah mere gunahon ko maaf kare aur mere haq mein logo ka dil naram kare. Watu Izzu Mantasha, Watu Zillu Mantasha. (I, Rabi Pirzada, am quitting showbiz. May Allah forgive my sins and soften the hearts of people in my favour. Allah honours those he is pleased with and disgraces those he is not happy with.)”

The announcement comes a week after some videos and photos of Rabi were leaked online and went viral. Some netizens have accused Pakistani army spokesperson Major General Asif Ghafoor for the leak after she got into an argument with him, some accused her ex-boyfriend for the indecent act. The singer, had also filed a complaint with Pakistan’s Federal Investigation Agency.
Meanwhile, Pirzada who calls herself belonging to Kashmir has repeatedly criticized Indian government and media and made bizarre threats. Her video featuring snakes and a crocodile left some animal welfare organisations miffed too. As a result, she had to pay a fine for holding the creatures captive illegally.
