The video has not left fans amused who commented on the video for her ‘rude’ behaviour. Ranu got angry at the lady fan and asked her why she held her hand like that. However, the fan didn't say anything and maintained a smile on her face.
"no matter how far we go in life....we should never forget our ground", "She deserve the place she came from.." wrote one user. ‘’Itni jaldi attitude aagaya, us ladki ne isko jara sa bhaw kya de diya ye to attitude dikhane lag gayi’’ commented another.
As for her shoot to fame, Mondal already has recorded three shows with Himesh Reshammiya in addition to making an appearance at various reality shows. Reports also claim that a Ranu Mondal biopic is on the works and that award-winning Bengali actress Sudipta Chakraborty has been approached to take on the role of the overnight sensation.
Talking to IANS on the biopic, Sudipta said, “Yes, I have been offered the film. However, I am yet to receive a script. I will decide if I want to play the character only after reading the script.”
As of now, the biopic will be shot in Ranu Mandol’s hometown Ranaghat, Mumbai and Kolkata and is expected to release in February next year.
