In a gesture that truly deserves an appreciation, a pizza delivery company sent a team to deliver piping hot pizzas to the world’s highest battlefield, the Siachen base camp, on Republic Day. In a video shared on Twitter by Domino’s Pizza India, soldiers can be seen all smiles with their little boxes of joy. "We are honoured to have served hot pizzas to our brave Soldiers and Officers at Siachen as a gesture of our gratitude for their untiring service to the nation," fast food joint Domino's tweeted.

"Domino's Pizza team on the way to delivering happiness and hot pizzas at 20,000 feet," the pizza delivery company had tweeted earlier in the day.

When the soldiers were asked how they liked the pizza, quick came the reply: “It’s very good”, while others gave a thumbs up.

Twitterartis were all praises for the pizza joint. "Thank you so much for the appreciation. Well, it was a small gesture for our nation's heroes and put a smile on their faces," Domino's Pizza said in response to one post.
