New Delhi:
If would are onboard a flight, only a few things will come without an extra fee and one among them can be a shot of scare. Recently passengers onboard a US based air travel service provider Spirit Airlines flight, travelling from Charlotte, North Carolina to Newark, New Jersey gave its passengers a major scare when a winged creature flew up and down the cabin compartment while the flight was mid-air.
Passengers soon recognised it to be a bat, some locked them inside cabin washroom.
A video of the incident has gone viral online and in it one can see the animal flying over the heads of the passengers. Some are found screaming, laughing while others are offering suggestions and yelling “It’s the Batmobile!”
The bat began flying through the cabin almost thirty minutes into the flight and had everyone screaming at the top of their lungs.
According to a passenger's social media post, no one was hurt and one of the passengers caught it and put it in the bathroom.
The video was shared on Twitter with the caption, "me, twice a year: "i'll never fly spirit again." me, this morning, after deciding i'd rather save 12 dollars."
In an email Friday night, Spirit Airlines spokesman Derek Dombrowski confirmed the “stowaway bat” found its way onto a flight from Charlotte, N.C., to Newark. He said the company believes the bat flew into an overhead bin in Charlotte while crews performed maintenance overnight.

Here’s a crazy flight experience. A bat was on the plane headed to Newark. It came out while the plane was in the air. Luckily no one was hurt. One of the passengers caught it and put it in the bathroom. @karenhunter pic.twitter.com/lV0HgHptjY
