The Telangana Police has been winning millions of thumbs up online following one of its witty replies to a Twitter user who accused the officials of finning him incorrectly alleging a violation of traffic rules. The Telangana man, namely Mohammad Mubeen, took to Twitter, posting a picture in support of his claim, however, it was the Telangana Police's tongue-in-cheek response that stole the show online.
"Sir we were only two members riding on the bike. But police have issued me challan for triple riding. Look closely sir we were only two," Mubeen wrote on Twitter while posting a photograph showing two people riding on a bike along with a pillion bag placed between them. That very bag had apparently led to a confusion creating an illusion that there are three people on the bike instead of two.

However, the Telangana Police did not take long to give it back and shut the trolling attempt down with a sober but sassy reply. Considering the man's concern on Twitter, the police department said that they have placed a request to change the violation from 'Triple riding to W/O helmet', adding that people should always wear a helmet and follow the traffic rules.

"Sir, your request has been considered and we have placed a request to change the violation from Triple riding to W/O helmet. Please follow traffic rules and always wear a helmet," the tweet reads.

The sharp-witted reply from the police department kickstarted a laughing riot online with Twitterati showering hilarious remarks on the comment thread of the said post. While some of them advised the man to photoshop the image with addition of helmets, others wondered if the third person got down from the bike to click the picture.
Here is how the Telangana Police became the Centre of attraction on Twitter:
