Uber, the global transportation company, who have in recent years gained notoriety for being 'not-so-female-friendly' is at it again! Last year after a woman filed a complaint against the Uber driver after she caught him allegedly masturbating that led many to question if the transportation company is safe, this recent incident reported by a Delhi-based journalist woman doesn’t quite better the reputation regarding woman’s safety. According to the report of the journalist identified as Amrita Das, the Uber driver allegedly misbehaved with her compelling to take the encounter on social media.

On her social media post, which she alleges took place on Tuesday, Amrita Das describes the driver as ‘rude and creepy’. Das wrote, “Rude and creepy driver. I demand action. First he refused to turn on the air conditioner, then says garmi lag rahi hai to aage mere godi me baith jao . He also ended the trip, moments after starting to drive and forced me out. This is when I was with husband.”

Uber, the company, which was also was also tagged in her Twitter post have apologised for what had happened, the transportation company wrote, “We're so sorry to hear about this. Our team has recently responded via email. Please reply there if you have additional questions.”

The driver is also reported to have been removed from the app pending investigation. An Uber spokesperson said, "What’s been detailed has no place on our platform. We have removed the individual’s access to the app pending a full investigation."
