In one of those ‘We saw it coming’ instances, a 23-year-old woman fell 80 feet while attempting an extreme yoga pose on the edge of her balcony. An accident that resulted to breaking both her legs the woman identified as Alexa miraculously survived the fall from her sixth-floor apartment balcony in the northeastern Mexican state of Nuevo Leon on Saturday.

An image of Miss Terrazas that is going viral shows the young woman the hanging upside down from the glass balcony moments before she slipped and fell.

She was taken to a local hospital and underwent 11 hours of surgery which the paramedics as of Monday afternoon listed her in critical condition suffering fractures to both of her legs and arms as well as her hips and head.

As a result of the fall, Mexican outlet El Imparcial Mexican outlet reported that the young woman might not walk for three years after doctors were forced to reconstruct her broken legs.

The Nuevo Leon Attorney General's office who reportedly opened up an investigation following the accident found that the balcony's rail did not have any structural damages.
