This Swiggy delivery boy from Mumbai is the perfect example of ‘not all hero wear capes’. The hero, now distinguished as Sadhu Humanabade is now hailed as Mumbai's new hero and his brave deed is drawing inspiration to the whole nation. So, what exactly did this delivery boy do to draw the attention of a hero? A class 12 pass out, Sidhu, who works as a delivery guy at Swiggy, is said to have saved the lives of 10 people from a major fire that broke out on Monday at ESIC Kamgar Hospital. According to sources, Sidhu was passing by for his daily work at the hospital when he first saw the fire and immediately without a second thought went to help the people stuck in the hospital. He is reported to have left his bike then and there and joined the firemen in the rescue operations to help the people caught in the cloud of fire and smog.

Sidhu was said to have risked his own life choking on the smog while trying to rescue the stranded patients. He himself suffered smog inhalation and was later admitted at the nearby Seven Hills Hospital. A photo of him from the hospital shows Sindhu still wearing his Swiggy shirt as the photo was shared by his doctor recently. Here is a picture of him undergoing treatment:

Talking about how he rescued the patients from his hospital bed, Sidhu told PTI, "I joined the firemen in their rescue operation. Thankfully, the firemen allowed me to climb their ladder to reach the fourth floor. I broke the building's glass with an axe and entered the premises."

After news of his brave act spread, the Union Minister of State for Labour and Employment Santosh Gangwar is reported to have visited Sidhu at the hospital to show appreciation for his heroic act.

The Internet who also took notice of his brave by showering him with love and hailing him a hero. Sources say that Sidhu had joined Swiggy a few days back when he shifted to Andheri, with his uncle.
