Former Congress President Rahul Gandhi addressed a rallies in Maharashtra’s Yavatmal and Wardha. He attacked PM Narendra Modi over a range of issues in his address. Both BJP and Congress are campaigning in poll-bound Haryana and Maharashtra. The two states vote on October 21 and counting of votes will take place on October 24.
Rahul says GST has not benefited any common man or small traders. Ambani, Adani and Mallya have gained by it as small industries have been hit by it. GST was to finish small shopkeepers to help big businesspersons like Ambani and Adani.
Gandhi said that the government doesn’t care about the jobs for youth or situation of farmers and their families in Vidarbha, but instead talked about rockets landing on Moon and scrapping Article 370.
Unemployment, farmer crisis and poor economy are the biggest problems of this country. But Modi ji does not want to talk about these. Industries started shutting down because of GST and the youth working in them became unemployed.
Rahul Gandhi says that the government waived off taxes of big corporates to the tune of Rs 1.25 lakh crore ahead of his visit to the US.
