BARC TRP ratings week 40 Kaun Banega Crorepati 9 Kundali Bhagya Bigg Boss 11 top ten shows

TRP ratings for week 40 have been finally released. The past week was quite crucial for Indian television as the ratings of top reality shows like Bigg Boss 11, Super Dancer 2 and The Great Indian Laughter Challenge were launched. Talking about the rankings of channels, it is Sony Entertainment Television which has secured the number one spot in week 40. The channel which was ranked at number four in week 39 has seen a good increase on the back of Kaun Banega Crorepati 9. Colors channel has also seen a rise in numbers and continues to remain at the second spot. Zee Tv has also retained its third position just like last week. Talking about the lows, it is Star Plus which has seen a massive fall from number one to number four. Star Bharat has overtaken Sony SAB to take the number fifth spot pushing the former to number six. Without much ado, let's give you a look at the top ten shows of the week. Kaun Banega Crorepati 9 has been doing wonders on the TRP charts and continues to be the number one show for sixth consecutive week.

Kundali Bhagya is the top daily soap on Indian television and has retained its number two spot just like week 39.

The grand finale of Khatron Ke Khiladi has done quite well on the TRP charts and with this, the show has secured the third spot.

Kumkum Bhagya has seen a drop in both numbers and rankings in week 40. The popular show has managed to secure the fourth spot in list of top ten shows.

Udaan which was ranked at number ten in week 39 has done really well this week and secured the fifth position. The show stars Meera Deosthal and Vijayendra Kumeria as Chakor and Suraj respectively.

Shakti-Astitva Ke Ehsaas Ki has seen a rise it numbers which has resulted in improved ranking. The daily soap which was ranked number at nine in week 39 has climbed up to number six in the latest set of ratings.

Yeh Rishta Kya Keh Lata Hai has once again retained the number seventh spot in week 40. The popular Star Plus drama has been placed at the same spot now for the past three weeks.

Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah has slipped to number eight in week 40. The show has also lost its slot leadership to Udaan. It seems fans are really missing their favourite Daya ben on the show.

Sony Entertainment Television had a great week all thanks to Kaun Banega Crorepati and Super Dancer 2. The dance based reality show has opened quite well and has taken the number nine spot in week 40.

Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Little Champs which is inching closer to its grand finale has fallen this week in terms of rankings. The popular reality show has just managed to save its place in the list of top ten shows. It was ranked at number eight in week 39 while in week 40 it has secured the tenth spot.

This week, we would like to give a special mention to Bigg Boss 11 which has opened with good numbers. The grand premiere episode has fetched a TRP of 2.9. The popular reality show has just missed the number ten spot with a whisker. The Salman Khan hosted show has taken the eleventh spot and considering the drama element, we believe BB11 will soon make it to top ten shows list.
