Dipika Kakar was announced the winner of Bigg Boss Season 12 by Salman Khan on the grand finale of the show last night. Ahead of the big announcement, Dipika and Sreesanth found themselves as the top finalists on the show. While Dipika walked away with a cash prize of Rs 30 lakh, Sreesanth was declared as the first runner-up. Apart from Dipika and Sreesanth, Deepak Thakur, Romil Chaudhary, and Karanvir Bohra made it to the BB12 finale. Bigg Boss 1: Aashiqui actor Rahul Roy won the first season of Bigg Boss. The show was hosted by Arshad Warsi and model Carol Gracias was declared as the first runner-up. He took home the prize money of Rs 1 crore.

Bigg Boss 2 winner Ashutosh Kaushik

Bigg Boss 2: In the Season 2 of the show, Ashutosh Kaushik had emerged as the winner only a year after having won the Roadies Season 5. He not only took home Rs 1 crore as prize money but also went on to work in films like Shortcut Romeo, Zila Ghaziabad and Kismat Love Paisa Dilli.

Bigg Boss 3: The winner Vindu Dara Singh took home the prize money of Rs 1 crore along with a luxury car. He went on to work in films such as Son of Sardaar, Jatt James, Non Veg, Pranam Valekum, Khanna Patel and Famous Ho Gaya. The show was being hosted by Amitabh Bachchan.

Bigg Boss 4: Salman Khan started hosting Bigg Boss in the fourth season and since then, he has been the face of the show. TV actor Shweta Tiwari won the show and walked away with the prize money of Rs 1 crore. She then went on to play the lead in TV show Parvarrish and participated in dance reality show Jhalak Dikkhla Jaa.

Bigg Boss 5: Bigg Boss season 5 had two celebrity hosts – Salman Khan and Sanjay Dutt. TV actor Juhi Parmar lifted the trophy in fifth season and took home the prize money of Rs 1 crore. She also came as a guest on Bigg Boss 12. Actor Mahek Chahal emerged as the first runner up.

Bigg Boss 6: Urvashi Dholakia, best known for her role as Komolika on TV show Kasautii Zindagii Kay, won the sixth season of Bigg Boss and Rs 50 lakh prize money.

Bigg Boss 7: Gauhar Khan won the seventh season of the show. She went on to feature in films such as Fever in 2016 and Begum Jaan in 2017. She was also one of the guests on Bigg Boss 12.

Bigg Boss 8 winner Gautam Gulati

Bigg Boss 8: Gautam Gulati emerged as the winner of season 8 of Bigg Boss. He won a prize money of Rs 50 lakh. He later went on to play the role of former cricketer Ravi Shastri in Azhar and starred in another film Behen Hogi Teri.

Bigg Boss 9: Prince Narula won the ninth season of Bigg Boss and the heart of his future wife Yuvika Chaudhary. He bagged his first television show Badho Bahu soon after and was also seen in the third season of Naagin.

Bigg Boss 10: Manveer Gurjar was a commoner from Noida and went on to win the show along with the prize money of Rs 40 lakh. He is currently working on his debut film, Aaj Ki Ayodhya. Apart from this, he will be also seen in Khatron Ke Khiladi 8.

Bigg Boss 11 winner Shilpa Shinde

Bigg Boss 11: Shilpa Shinde, best known for her role as the Angoori Bhabhi of comedy show Bhabhi Ji Ghar Par Hain, won the show and took home prize money of Rs 44 lakh.
