While everyone is busy exchanging greeting, celebs from the showbiz industry too are seen extending their wishes to their fans. Urging fans to light "at least one diya" for the Army, actor Akshay Kumar wrote, "We are, because they are."

For actor Alia Bhatt, it was double celebration as Diwali coincides with the fifth anniversary of her debut, Student of the Year. "Happy happy Diwali to you all! Today is a very special day. For two reasons.. Diwali being the first and 5 years of SOTY being the second," Alia wrote.
