The month of July was a roller coaster ride for the films this year. From Rajinikanth’s Kabali, John Abraham’s Dishoom to multi-starrer Great Grand Masti, films did really well and garnered mixed reactions from people across the country. July remained a sensational month for the films as far as box office collections are concerned. Rajinikanth’s Kabali broke the box office record with a grand opening. The movie collected over 200 crore in its first day. Salman’s Sultan too had a massive opening. Let’s take a look at the top five films that created lot of buzz in July.
Grand success of Kabali starring Rajinikanth:
The movie had a massive opening with a box office collection of Rs 211 crore in its opening day in India. It has broken all records in the Indian film industry. Kabali was released hardly 11 days ago and so far it has collected over Rs 650 crore overall. The counting is still on.
Salman Khan Starrer Sultan
The movie had a great opening as Salman’s fans were eagerly waiting for its release. Sultan also collected over 100 crore, in the initial days, thus entering into a 100 crore club.
