'Jab Harry met Sejal' starring Shah Rukh Khan and Anushka Sharma in the lead roles released on Friday worldwide has earned the 16.5 crores on its opening day. The film opened over across 3200 screens and is believed to be one of the lowest earnings. Shah Rukh Khan last released Raees earned 20 crores on its opening day. The film is sharing the space with the thriller 'Gurgaon' and the one-week old 'Mubarakan'. However, trade analyst expects the collection will rise over the weekend.

As Shah Rukh Khan's last three releases were unable to hit the box office. This time Shah Rukh Khan and Anushka Sharma visited on sets of several daily soap operas and reality show to promote its upcoming romantic flick.
