Linkin Park Frontman Chester Bennington is no more as he was found dead at 41 in an apparent suicide. He will be missed for all his contributions that he has made in all the genres of music.
His death is also a shock as he ended his life on the day when Cornell’s turned 53. According to TMZ reports Bennington appears to have hung himself in almost the same way his friend did.
He was ofcourse successful person in his professional life, but before reaching at this height he had to face many ups and down that many of us might not know.

Sexual Abuse
In an interview, Bennington revealed that he suffered sexual abuse from an older male friend when he was seven years old. He was scared to ask for help because he did not want people to think he was gay or lying, and the abuse continued until the age of 13. The abuse and situation at home affected him so much that he felt the urge to kill and run away. To comfort himself, he drew pictures, and wrote poetry and songs.
School days:
He was physically bullied in high school. In an interview, he said: “I was knocked around like a rag doll at school, for being skinny and looking different.”
Early inspirations:
Bennington took interest in music at a young age, citing bands Depeche Mode and Stone Temple Pilots as his early inspirations, and dreamed of becoming a member of Stone Temple Pilots.
Parents:
Bennington’s parents divorced when he was 11 years old, and his father gained custody of him.

According to Digital Spy, Bennington did an interview with another news outlet in 2009 where he revealed that he considered suicide after his first marriage. I felt like my life's work had been given away. I drank myself to the point where I couldn't leave the house and I couldn't function,” the singer said. I wanted to kill myself. I could very easily not be the person who's sitting here right now. I could be dead. It was a horrible, horrible existence.”
