From many times, several Bollywood movies have been in controversy. Whether it is bold scenes from a movie or a content not liked by any religious community, the matter can be any. Let us have a look at some recent movies that somehow got into controversy.
PK: The movie was in controversy because of some of its scenes thet were found inappropriate by some religious groups.It showed some of their customs as superstition thus outraging them.
Madras Cafe: The movie talked about the assassination of Rajiv Gandhi and Indian interference in the Sri-lankan civil war. Several Tamil groups wanted the movie to be banned.
Main Hoon Rajnikanth: The movie was banned because it used actor Rajnikant's name. the film's name was later on changed to Main Hoon (Part Time) Killer.
Goliyon Ki Rasleela: Ramleela - This movie got in controversy as Hindus' senstivity got hurt because of the name of the film. Nevertheless, the movie was released and a huge success on box office.
Udta Punjab: The movie portrayed the people of Punjab. But the audience of Punjab were not satisfied with what the movie described them as. The movie had also used slangs. Udt Punjab got a total of 89 cuts before its release.
