TRP ratings week 33 Khatron Ke Khiladi 8 leads the list of top ten shows, Colors dethrones Star Plus

The TRP ratings for week 33 of 2017 have been released. There have been quite a few developments in terms of numbers this week . Star Plus which was seating comfortably at number one last week, has been dethroned by Colors. Colors has seen a rise in its viewership and is the leading General Entertainment Channel (GEC) in this week. Star Plus has been pushed down to number two while ZEE TV retained its third position. Sony SAB has overtaken Sony Entertainment Television to acquire the fourth rank and has pushed the latter to fifth position. Life OK and & TV are placed at number sixth and seventh position respectively. There have been quite a shuffle in the list of top ten shows and we have a new leader this week. Let's have a look at what week 33 (August 12-18) has brought in our store for the daily soaps and reality shows. Check out the list of top ten shows to see if your favourite show is there or not. Chandrakanta — Ek Mayavi Prem Gaatha has made an entry into the list of top ten shows this week. It has secured the tenth position with 2.1 TRPs. Madhurima Tuli plays the titular role and is supported by television's favourite vamp Urvashi Dholakia as Iravati. Vishal Aditya Singh plays the lead role opposite Madhurima.

Colors' Mahakali — Anth Hi Aarambh Hai has become the favourite of the television audience within few weeks of its launch. It has bagged the ninth position with 2.3 TRPs and the upcoming track will fetch it more ratings. The popular shows stars Pooja Sharma and Saurabh Raj Jain in the lead roles.

Dance Plus 3 has managed to rake in 2.4 TRPs this week and thus has acquired the eight postion in the list of top shows. The popular dance reality show airs on Star Plus. Remo D'Souza plays the role of the 'Super Judge' in the show hosted by Ragav Juyal.

Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai is one of the longest running shows on Indian television and has completed more than 2000 episodes. The show is still popular amongst the audience and has gained 2.4 TRPs to secure the seventh position this week. The Star Plus shows stars Mohsin Khan and Shivangi Joshi playing the lead roles of Kartik and Naira. Fans have given the onscreen moniker of 'KaIra' to the popular television couple.

‘Shakti-Astitva Ke Ehsaas Ki’ has seen a fall in both the TRPs and position. The show which was at number three last week has been pushed to number six this week. The Colors show has managed to get 2.5 TRPs. It is based on the struggle of an intersex woman and the problems she faces in the society.Vivian Dsena and Rubina Dilaik play the lead roles in the weekday show.

Kumkum Bhagya made a grand entry into the list of top five shows this week. The Zee Tv show has bagged the fifth position with 2.6 TRPs. With the drama intensity all set to spice up, expect the ratings to shoot up more. The popular show is produced by Ekta Kapoor and stars Sriti Jha and Shabbir Ahluwalia in the lead roles. Kumkum Bhagya has dominated the weekday 9PM slot for quite a long time.

Who said spin-offs don't work on Indian television? Kundali Bhagya has exceeded the expectations of everyone and is doing well week after week. It has maintained its fourth position and has fetched 2.6 TRPs this week. The show is produced by Ekta Kapoor and stars Shraddha Arya, Dheeraj Dhoopor, Manit Joura and Anjum Fakih in the lead roles.

Old is truly gold. Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah has been on-air for nine years now and is still entertaining the viewers with its rib-ticking content. The show was at number five last week and this week it has gained 2.7 TRPs to earn the third position in the list. The Sony SAB show has emerged as the number daily soap this week. It stars Dilip Joshi and Disha Vakani in the lead roles of Jethalal and Daya.

Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Little Champs on Zee Tv has held the number one slot for quite a few weeks now. But this week, its leadership has been challenged and the show has been pushed to number two. The popular singing reality show has gained 3.2 TRPs this week. Himesh Reshamiya, Javed Ali and Neha Kakkar are the three judges on the show which is aired on weekends.

Colors has many reasons to rejoice this week as it has bagged the number one spot and also the top show on Indian television belongs to the very same channel. The number one show is none other than 'Khatron Ke Khiladi-Pain In Spain'. The show has trounced Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Little Champs to become the leading show on Indian television in week 33. The Rohit Shetty hosted show has raked in 3.3 TRPs this week.
